1. Your Day-to-Day:

As an AML/KYC Remediation Consultant, you will play a key role in reviewing and remediating client files to ensure compliance with AML and KYC regulations. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough reviews of client files to ensure adherence to AML/KYC regulatory requirements
  • Performing customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) on high-risk clients and transactions
  • Updating and remediating KYC documentation, ensuring that all required information is gathered and verified
  • Identifying and escalating potential risks or suspicious activities to senior compliance officers
  • Collaborating with the Compliance and Risk teams to develop and implement effective remediation processes
  • Assisting in the creation of internal policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Documenting all findings and ensuring remediation actions are completed within appropriate timelines
  • Contributing to regulatory reporting, audits, and risk assessments as required
  • Managing communications with internal stakeholders and external parties regarding KYC remediation actions

2. Your Profile:

We are looking for a highly skilled consultant with significant experience in AML/KYC remediation. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • 4-5 years of experience in an AML/KYC remediation role, preferably within financial services or asset management
  • Solid understanding of AML/KYC regulations and compliance requirements, with expertise in remediation processes
  • Experience conducting KYC reviews for high-net-worth individuals and complex client structures
  • Familiarity with global sanctions lists, PEPs (Politically Exposed Persons), and adverse media screening
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address remediation needs
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with AML/KYC software and tools used for remediation purposes
  • A degree in finance, law, or a related field is preferred
  • Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) would be advantageous
